About Responsive Home Health
Responding with care since 1994 in Florida's Broward County, Responsive Home Health is a full service private duty home health agency providing clients with the highest level of care in their homes, retirement communities or wherever they reside. Our friendly, dedicated caregivers have made Responsive a home care leader in Broward County.
Our staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, Companions and Physical Therapists. Services range from 1- to 24-hour care and include skilled nursing, personal care, errands, light housekeeping, transportation and respite care. We will also work with our clients who need minor repairs to their home.

Our staff are employed by Responsive Home Health, bonded and insured, and covered under worker's compensation. Unlike with a nurse registry or private hire, you will NOT need to worry about payroll or required taxes associated with using an independent contractor.

What sets our caregivers apart:
Responsive Home Health's caregivers go through a rigorous screening process before being hired. This process includes:
- State of Florida criminal background checks.
- Department of Motor Vehicle record and insurance coverage checks.
- Written reference checks.
- Physical exams with proof that caregiver is free of communicable disease.
All caregivers are not created equal, and Responsive Home Health maintains a reputation for being able to spot those with a special gift for caring, listening, and compassion. In addition, each of our caregivers goes through a thorough orientation, with ongoing training also provided. We even train our caregivers in the finer points of cooking, to ensure our clients receive not only nutritious, but tasty meals that fit a specific client's dietary needs.
All of our care is supervised and monitored by an RN, who will update the plan of care when needed and is able to coordinate care changes seamlessly with medical providers to ensure a collaborative effort between care providers.
We take great care when finding the perfect match between caregiver and client, but understand how difficult it may be to invite someone into your or your loved one's home for care. For this reason, we invite client interviews with caregivers to allow for the most comfortable transition to care in the home possible.
