We proudly introduce our management team:

Debbie Savage RN, BSN
President and Director of Nursing

Debbie Savage is a Registered Nurse and the founder and president of Responsive Home Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She assures that proper protocol is being followed in all levels of client care. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, she moved to South Florida in 1981 and now resides in Davie, FL. 

With a long history of caring for the elderly and those in need, Ms. Savage started her career in Assisted Living in 1981. She co-owned and managed multiple Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) in the South Florida area and started her home health agency, Responsive Home Health Care, in 1994.

Debbie was instrumental in changing the name of Adult Congregate Living Facilities (ACLFs) to the more accepted term we use today, Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs). She also worked for many years successfully advocating for funding alternatives to skilled nursing facilities.

Through her grassroots efforts serving as president of the Florida Assisted Living Association, she assisted the State of Florida in the development of funding sources for assisted living through the Medicaid Waiver Program. She also served on the national Board of the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) from 1998-2002. She was a general partner and developed several assisted living facilities in Broward County. 

Debbie has taken her enthusiasm for assisted living to her home health company and notes, “Being able to make a difference in a person’s life is an honor. We are given that opportunity every day at Responsive Home Health, and we take it seriously. It is often the little things we do, a kind voice of encouragement or a helping hand, that make the difference in our clients’ quality of life.” 

She is active in the Leadership Broward Foundation and supports many other non-profits in the community. Her two sons are both graduates of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale and attend Stetson University and the University of Central Florida.

Stephanie Pizarro
Staffing Manager

Stephanie Pizarro has worked with Responsive Home Health since February of 1995, and she oversees all aspects of staffing. Stephanie works directly with our staffing coordinators, nursing staff, nurse’s aides, our clients and their families. She also handles all our referrals from Hospitals, Physicians and Attorneys.

Stephanie is the proud mother of three children and is a native Floridian. She is bilingual (Spanish) and earned her Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. Stephanie truly enjoys working with our clients and helping to improve their quality of life.

Laurie Daniels
Nursing Supervisor

Laurie Daniels is a Registered Nurse who has been with Responsive Home Health since 1994. Laurie sees clients with medical and psychiatric diagnoses. Prior to home health nursing, Laurie worked at Palmetto General Hospital for 15 ½ years.

Laurie is presently a volunteer with the "Make a Wish" Foundation. She is a Wish Granter helping to fulfill the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses.

Sandra O’Farrill
Human Resources Manager

Sandra O’Farrill has been with Responsive Home Health since December of 1999. Sandra handles all components of our staffing, including the initial interview process, hiring, and maintaining all personnel files.

Sandra is a college graduate with a degree in Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism, a field she worked in for over 10 years. She enjoys visiting her family in Louisiana where she grew up.

Pauline Hinds
Staffing Coordinator

Pauline has been with Responsive Home Health since January of 2001. She worked for nearly two years with our clients out in the field and then transitioned to join our office staff in 2001.

Prior to joining Responsive, Pauline worked for six years with a Medicare-certified home health agency. She graduated from Chiswick Comprehensive, in London, England and also completed an extensive course in Office Technology at Florida Memorial College.

Linda Uselman
Staffing Coordinator

Linda has worked as a medical assistant and CNA for over 16 years. Having in-depth experience with hands-on care, Linda is able to relate to clients’ specific needs.

Linda and her husband Ron recently relocated to Margate, FL with their miniature Schnauzer Isabella. She is the mother of three sons and seven grandchildren.

Regina Hall
Staffing Coordinator

Regina has worked as a home health aide and a native Floridian. Having in-depth experience with hands-on care, Regina is able to relate to clients' specific needs.

Regina is the mother of four children.
